The ideia of this e-auction started when my student Fabiana Silva de Sousa, who is 15 years old got a scholarship to attend the 16th iEARN Conference in Morocco from July 19 to July 25.She has participated in the scholarship process by writing an essay of her work in the community to help it.She was one of four students chosen to take part in the Conference in the city of Ifrane.
The scholarship does not cover the flight ticket(U$1900) and Fabiana doesn´t have the money to pay for it.Thus, we´ve have been working hard to raise funds to help her.We´ve been raffling , selling cakes, organizing a garage sale.Some generous people have been donating,as well.
Her grandmother has made these 10 beautiful cushion covers in different colors. They are double-side and you can choose either side to use.The total price of the 10 cushions are $200,00.
We´ll start with $200,00 and the person who bids more will get them. I´ll send them by mail and give a bank account number so the person can deposit the money.
The lucky one will be known on Wednesday - May 27 th.
